A little about Into the Wild
Hello and Welcome to our group. Into the Wild is the name of our little family run clinic. We have several health offerings including herbalism, forest therapy, nature play therapy, nutritional counseling, essential oils and clean healthy cooking. We are a Jewish family of five. So much of what we say and do is connected to our faith. We believe God created our bodies and gave them an incredible ability to keep order and repair itself. We in turn should learn to listen to our bodies when they are asking for help. You will get to know me very well I hope. My name is Misty Rose or Mamma Rose as some call me...lol. I teach and create lessons and products to help keep our bodies running well. My darling love of my life works behind the scenes as my editor and camera guy. He makes the rare appearance then and again. and then there are my three children who you will see often. They help with production and each is an aspiring herbalist themselves. My heart is quite proud of their work and growth!.they also help with demonstrating technique and in our table discussions we ponder on theological subjects and herbal wisdom. We also believe that all the wonders of creation were given to us for our good. That they can be used to help restore balance and healing to the mind and body. I will write more on this in the coming weeks. but if you have ever experienced the awe of the mighty ocean and the way the sound of the rolling tide tends to sooth the mind and bring sleep. Or stood in a forest and felt the calmness of the air around you that was the trees and the soil recharging your own electric battery. If you have ever been soothed by a familiar aroma or found comfort in the warmth of your pet than you are already familiar with how nature also nurtures us. In this group we focus mainly on forest therapy , though on occasion we will bring other elements of our practice into these sessions. I would ask from the start that you would keep an open mind. We intend this group to be an inviting space for everyone regardless of faith or walks of life. This is a no judgement zone. The second thing i would ask is that you would extend to yourself a little grace and patience. We do not become ill over night. It took time to get to this point. Healing takes time too. So take your time. Use both the guided sessions and the simple exercises offered as tools to recovering yourself. This is a shorter version of our scope and practice. We do offer full two hour weekly sessions online and in person as well as two hour individual sessions catered to specific targeted goals. So if interested you can message me for more information.
