Sometimes we know when to slow down, take a breather and reevaluate what is important and what needs to be prioritized.
but there are also times where we get so caught up with the chaos of the day that we neglect ourselves, and struggle to find emotional regulation so as a defense mechanism our bodies shut down whether it be a day, a week, a month, however long it'll take because burnout is real!!!!
Remember Mentally Checked out means you will be physically turned off and emotionally drained.
It's ok to take a vacation from your head and rest on your lung's so you can breathe again.
