Connect Grow Empower
If we connect, we can grow If we grow, we can empower If we empower, we can love And if we love, we can conquer all If we are immersed, we can be inspired. If we are inspired, we can connect. If we are immersed, we can be inspired. If we are inspired, we can connect. If we connect, we can love. And if we love, we can truly protect.

Adults Please Take Notice
A child doesn’t need to be in a war zone to experience combat-level stress. They just need to be in the wrong living room. Brain imaging studies found that children exposed to frequent family conflict show threatprocessing patterns in the brain identical to soldiers exposed to combat. The amygdala doesn’t know the difference between a bomb and a screaming parent. This isn’t about being “too sensitive.” It’s neuroscience. Their brains are literally being rewired by conflict. Staying calm, staying present, and keeping the door open goes a long way. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/15/well/family/why-your-grumpy-teenager-doesnt-want-to-talk-to-you.html?unlocked_article_code=1.O1A.NiXb.5M4dvtAdIrK7&smid=url-share

When leaders understand how trauma affects learning, trust, and persistence, they stop reacting and start designing ecosystems that heal. This visual breaks down five core reasons trauma-informed leadership matters — from restoring psychological safety to activating healing-centered pedagogy.
