What is this child showing me?
One of the biggest shifts in my teaching happened when I stopped asking:
"What should I teach next?"
and started asking:
"What is this child showing me?"
Sometimes the answer isn't obvious.
It might be perseverance as they rebuild a tower for the fifth time.
It might be creativity as a paper bag becomes something completely unexpected.
It might be confidence growing because another child simply joined their play.
When we slow down enough to notice, we begin to see learning that was already there.
That's the heart of Inspired By Children.
🌱 I'd love to hear from you...
What's one moment this week where a child showed you something you weren't expecting?
It could be something small.
Sometimes the smallest moments become the biggest learning stories.
