Sunset Walk – Red Fort
Sunset Walk – Red Fort Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Board Size: 51 × 61 cm Year: 2023 Original, one-of-a-kind artwork Signed by the artist Part of the Indian Heritage Collection Below I have shared a short painting process video, my experience photo at the Red Fort, and the finished artwork. What do you notice first in this painting — the architecture, the colour of the sky, or the two figures walking by the fort? This artwork is an original creation by MINA, Wilhelmina Quaynor, and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Sunset Walk – Red Fort captures the grandeur of the Red Fort at dusk. In this atmospheric work, MINA portrays two figures walking along the vast red sandstone walls of one of India’s most iconic Mughal monuments, as the sky glows with golden and turquoise hues of a Delhi evening. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, the Red Fort remains a powerful symbol of India’s Mughal heritage and independence. This painting reflects both its architectural magnificence and the quiet human moments that unfold in its shadow. For me, this work is also about memory, travel, and the feeling of standing before a place where history still feels alive. Painting: 'Hawa Mahal - Palace of the Winds' (2023)
This short video shares part of the painting process behind Hawa Mahal – Palace of the Winds, one of the works from my Indian Heritage Collection which can be viewed at www.minasartspace.com Hawa Mahal, in Jaipur, is one of India’s most recognisable architectural landmarks. Its delicate honeycomb façade, small windows, and warm pink tones make it a beautiful subject to paint. I was drawn to its rhythm, detail, atmosphere, and the sense of history held within the building. For me, painting heritage sites is not only about recording architecture. It is about memory, travel, observation, and the feeling of standing before a place that carries cultural meaning. In this work, I wanted to capture the Palace of Winds with warmth, light, and quiet atmosphere — allowing the building to feel both historic and alive. MINA Mina’s Art Space: www.minasartspace.com

Welcome to Inspiration With Mina.
This short behind-the-scenes video shows the early drawing stage of Temple of Light – Lotus Temple, part of my Indian Heritage Collection. For me, every painting begins with observation, memory, structure, and feeling. Before colour is added, I spend time mapping the architecture, atmosphere, and meaning of the place. In this community, I will be sharing more of the process behind my original artworks — from sketches and reference memories to painting stages, collection stories, and reflections on heritage, travel, creativity, and place. Inspiration With Mina is a space for those who enjoy art, reflective creativity, cultural storytelling, and the journey behind the finished work.
