Hello and Happy Wednesday! (what's left of it - oh, and you can view this update online, complete with images etc, here: https://app.getresponse.com/view.html?x=a62b&m=Blgxy0&mc=IC&s=75RTNA&u=MKpq&z=EzXFhcD&) (...and I had an email from a friend saying she was missing her AI updates from me, so yes, that's the majority of what is in this email, although in this update it is less about the latest updates and how they may impact business and individuals, and more about making sure everyone is aware of at least what is available right here and now in just one tiny sliver of the AI landscape) (sunrise here beside the River Danube in Novi Sad, Serbia - and no, that's not a factory, that's steam from the heating plant that provides heat to the city) Sorry I've been so quite for the past couple of months. It has been a combination of a few things, including getting all my visas to live permanently in Serbia and run my companies from here (that process is still on-going but will hopefully be finalized soon). Interestingly, I had a conversation with a fellow who runs a transfer company, and he said that he has lost track of how many major players from the States - C-suite figures from major tech and financial-services firms in particular - who are moving their legal residency to Serbia. BUT, another reason for the absence of updates is that frankly I wasn't sure what to send as there has been sooooooo much happening in the world of AI, the world in general, and my world specifically. Re AI (artificial intelligence), I started writing one update a few weeks ago, only to have to re-write it twice because things were changing so quickly - that in the end, I scrapped that update and decided to start fresh... ...and by 'fresh', I mean let's bring everyone up to a similar level with a quick look at what's available, particularly in the area of "text-to-AI" - and many of these technologies you can play with for free.
