For those of you learning digital fashion design or already working with 3D tools - I want to know: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄? I don't mean technical stuff like "I can't figure out how to drape in CLO" (though that's valid too). I mean the psychological stuff: 💭 "I'm not good enough at traditional design to deserve to use these tools" 💭 "Everyone else seems to get this faster than me" 💭 "What if I invest time learning this and the industry doesn't actually want it?" 💭 "I feel like a fake because I'm using AI/3D instead of doing it 'properly'" 💭 "I don't know if my work is actually good or if the tools are just making it look good" 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜'𝗺 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: I think a lot of us struggle with the same doubts but don't say them out loud because we think everyone else has it figured out. But the truth? Most people are figuring it out as they go. The confidence you see in other people's posts is often just... good editing. My theory: The mental blocks are often harder to overcome than the actual learning curve. Once you name them, they lose some of their power.
