The recent onsite commission cut was a pretty loud reminder that we can’t build everything on one stream of traffic. Amazon onsite videos are still valuable, but relying only on Amazon to show our content to shoppers is risky. The more I learn, the more I’m convinced that off-site traffic needs to be part of the strategy too. That’s why I’m excited about my friend Andreea Matei's Pinterest course. Andreea is an experienced Amazon Influencer with a lot of success, and she also really understands Pinterest. Not as another social media platform to babysit, but as a search engine where content can keep getting found long after you post it. The data shows that influencers that pay for & use at least 1 extension make 50% more than those that don't!! My personal favorite (and the one with the best bang for your buck) is Oink.
