So you have an idea for a game.
Or maybe you have a demo.
Perhaps you have spent the last 4 years building something.
Now the question is, who is going to play it?
Do you know what your value proposition is? How do you reach your audience? How do you get useful feedback that is not just, "yeah I liked it"?
My background is in business development/sales and marketing. I have a Certificate in Digital Marketing and experience working with start ups. Recently I have been working play testing games for indie and solo devs.
And I've noticed something:
Developers know their games. They don't always have the time or experience to figure out everything AROUND the game.
That's not surprising. Indie and solo developers already wear a ridiculous number of hats.
I created this community to share what I've learned about marketing, finding your players and getting meaningful feedback.
Learn how to understand your players, reach your audience and use playtesting to make better decisions about your game.
