“My Self Or Life With God” “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” ~ Galatians 6:8-9 NIV Stop for a moment and think about all the gifts and abilities found in the human race: creativity, industriousness, entrepreneurship, managerial ability, leadership, generosity, and many more. Some invest their gifts in the Kingdom of Heavenly Father God, while others invest in the kingdom of this world. The difference in using one’s gifts for oneself rather than for God is what the New Testament refers to as sowing to the flesh versus sowing to the Spirit. “Flesh” doesn’t necessarily mean “evil”; it basically refers to the priority of self above all whether for good or evil. Choosing self over God is called sowing to the flesh. Read and meditate today on Galatians 5:16-18. When we read and study the New Testament books of our Bible we will see how clear about the outcomes of sowing to the flesh versus sowing to the Spirit. The former leads to “corruption” meaning eternal separation from God, while the latter leads to eternal life with God. “For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live” (Romans 8:13). So we should daily ask ourselves : Am I living today for myself or for Christ? “The wisdom of the flesh is always exclaiming against the mysteries of God.” ~ John Calvin “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” ~Galatians 2:20 NIV Amen…

“Our Time And Our Life Season” “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:”. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV “Time and tide wait for no man.” This proverb arose in the fourteenth century. Tide suggests the rising and falling of the ocean’s tides. But in early English tide referred to seasons or periods of time, think yuletide referring to Christmas. So the proverb might best be defined for us to understood as “Time and seasons wait for no human.” The point of this proverb is obvious: Time is an unrelenting reality that cannot be stopped, delayed, reversed, lengthened, or shortened. As you are reading this mornings devotional, the clock of your life is ticking. You are closer to the completion of your time on earth at this moment than you were when you woke up this morning. So when the apostle Paul wrote, “[Redeem] the time,” he was conscious of the precious nature of time. We should take advantage of every second, hour, day, month, and year and treat them as our precious gifts from our Heavenly Father, Creator, God. We should use our time wisely, knowing we will never get back time that has passed. So we must “Prayerfully” consider how we can best use the 2026 year. Once passed, it can never be replaced. “If you die wrong the first time, you cannot come back to die better a second time.” ~ Robert Murray M’Cheyne “He said: “I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision concerns the appointed time of the end.” ~ Daniel 8:19 NIV Amen…

“Happy Nothing Day” “For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.” ~ 1 Timothy 6:7 NIV National Nothing Day, observed annually on January 16th, is a lighthearted "un-event" created by journalist Harold Pullman Coffin in 1972, giving people a designated day to do absolutely nothing, celebrate nothing, or contemplate the concept of nothingness, often with a touch of irony since it's a recognized "day" about having no activities. Take a moment and meditate on this: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”(John 15:5 NIV) So, let me give you a maths question. Nothing + nothing = ? Nothing – nothing = ? Nothing x nothing = ? Nothing ÷ nothing = ? NOTHING!!! But how many of us know that nothing to our Heavenly Father/ Creator/God is an opportunity to create something out of that nothing!!!! Amen!!! God doesn’t rule by human logic, to the human race nothing plus nothing equals to nothing, but our God is a God who creates something out from nothing!!! Read Genesis chapter 1…Amen!!! “And they had nothing to say.”(Luke 14:6 NIV). Out of that nothing, comes our salvation, our life, our relationship with Jesus!! When we hand our lives to Him, He change out nothing into something!! There are many situation in our life we need more than just hope but expect God to come and do a new work in our life. But we must first get rid of the attitude of expect nothing to expect something!! He created this world out of nothing. Besides that, every miracles come with something, 5 loaves & 2 fishes to feed 5000 people, water turn into wine, a little bit of oil that saves the widow & he son. So today I’ve share enough of NOTHING, all these nothing has many times stop us from doing something which is right. Let’s break this “nothing” mindset, I have nothing I can do nothing, I expect nothing, so that we can do something for God. “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”

“Turn On Your Love Lights” ““You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:14-16 NIV Many quotes have been written about Love and Light, these quotes often emphasize sharing positivity, overcoming darkness, and letting your inner radiance guide you and others, with examples like: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" (Martin Luther King Jr.), and "As we work to create light for others, we naturally light our own way" (Mary Anne Radmacher). These messages are to encourage by embracing love as a powerful force for healing and guidance, finding beauty in both light and shadow, and shining brightly to help other human beings to find their way. Ask yourself these questions: When it comes to my faith, what kind of light am I? ls your light a flicker others can see only if they're really looking for it? Or is it the kind that brightens everything up when you walk into a room? Take time throughout today and meditate on Matthew 5:16. As believers, we are all special-God's "workmanship" is the term used in Ephesians 2:10. We're members of His family, indwelt by the Holy Spirit; His light is the radiance within us. So our life has potential beyond imagination. We have no idea what amazing things our Heavenly Father can do through our willingness simply to shine the light of His powerful love. "Small lights have a way of being seen in a dark world" ~ Neal A. Maxwell “Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” ~John 3:20-21 NIV

“Do I Really Need More Stuff” “Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”” ~ Luke 12:15 NIV Actress Shannen Doherty who passed away from stage 4 breast cancer once said that her battle with cancer had changed her perspective on her physical possessions. She told People magazine (July 15, 2024) she accumulated a lot of antiques, but they were sitting in storage. “I’m not enjoying it and others aren’t enjoying it, and do I really need any of it? Do I need to have three dining room tables? The answer is no, none of us really need all the stuff that we have.” We’re living at a time ancient kings couldn’t conceive. A time when inventions, devices, technologies, and new products are coming at us on a daily basis. How do we keep our perspective? When we give the first ten percent or more of our income to the Lord, it helps us find balance. Our best way to deal with life of materialism is by gifting to others. Giving always connected with money, materials, and properties. There are some more things we can give to others such as, love, compassion, mercy, tender care, thanks, forgiveness, time and fellowship. We can invest our talents and knowledge in others. The knowledge grows when we share with others. “There is nothing wrong with me possessing riches. The wrong comes when riches possess men.” ~Billy Graham “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” ~2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV Amen…
