I practiced yesterday, but forgot to post it. Today, I played It is Well in all 12 keys. It was far from perfect, but I will keep at it. I went outside and played It Is Well a few times, because I find it helpful to play in different environments, although it was quite hot and humid and I was slightly worried about the pads on my flute, so I didn't stay out long I also played long tones and really thought about tone colors. I was purposely trying to play a bad sound and then a good sound and everything in between. I find it freeing to play all sorts of tone colors, that way I don't feel like I have to only achieve one tone color. I also played along with some Rumba Drum Metronome Loop while I played It Is Well, that Vic had me play with in our last lesson. Here is the link in case you want to play with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01ZbvPQby9k.
