Improv isn't scary, but freeing
Since I have joined this group and started participating in the classes, I learned that improv doesn't have to be scary, but freeing. It isn't about perfection, but how to make notes we didn't mean to play to sound like we meant to play them. I can't say that I am never scared to improv, I still am, but I have learned the world won't stop spinning if I don't get it right. I find it very freeing that I don't have to be perfect. Most importantly I am so thankful that this is a safe place and that the students and Vic are so encouraging! I love that we all build each other up and encourage one another.
