LEARN the yes and... approach. When we jump into a scene together, we will co-create a world. The tools at hand are our character story, character traits, environment and current story. Good improv is when both people effectively add to the scene and make it more interesting. This requires thinking on your feet and being aware of real information coming towards you. The first rule is that you can not disagree. That ends the scene. If someone tells you you hate chocolate... You have to say "yes and .... " you can only add to it. You are not to deny your co-creators creations in the moment. I'm liking this one minute format. This whole process is fun to watch, fun to do and extremely beneficial for building great social skills. Next session will be at 7pm tonight!
