Black and White Thinking
Are you a black and white thinker?
This held me back for many years.
I would try to become a better person, have more control over my anger, and my negative self-thoughts ; I would then fail and go "There you go again, you tried again and you can't do it, so give up trying to improve".
The issue is, I wasn't able to (or didn't want to) transfer the truth from other parts of my life. With time I was able to improve my footballing skills with hard work and patience with myself. Why? Because I was passionate about it and wouldn't give up. I did not entertain black and white thinking.
Is there an area of your life where you really want to improve but black and white thinking has held you back?
