The given bar chart provides information about how people aged 25 to 34 are housed in the United Kingdom.
From an overall perspective, it can be clearly seen that the percentage of home owners declined steadily over the period, while the proportion of renters increased significantly. It is interesting to note that in the end renters became more common than home owners.
Looking in detail, the proportion of home owners was the highest percentage in 2004, then the percentage decreased gradually from below 60 percent in 2004 to approximately 47 percent in 2010. On the other hand, the figure for renters significantly increased from 20 percent in 2004 to below 40 percent in 2010.
Next, between 2011 and 2012 both proportions were similar, the proportions of home owners stood at around 43 percent and renters accounted for about 41 percent. After that, the percentage of home owners decreased slightly at around 35 percent in 2014, whereas the figure for renters rose to just below 50 percent in 2014.
I worked on it for 30 minutes. :)
