Addiction
One year ago: Checked into rehab. Today: Making more than ever and building my dream life. The photo attached? That’s me passed out on my porch. My Uber Eats driver took it instead of a photo of the bag. Talk about a wake-up call. Once I got sober, I realized my "gut" had been hijacked by my ego and a bottle of vodka. I decided to start saying "Yes" to every real opportunity. I moved across the country, hit my highest-earning year ever, and reunited with the love of my life. Don't wait for things to be perfect to move. Stumble forward. Fail up.

Failing up at releasing a kids book
So I haven't used this app very much at all, but I'm doing a lot of extra things right now, so let's document it, talk about it. This month I published a kids book and I made an app. They both stink. Fo the book, it's just not formatting properly. But I've learned. Learned how to better format in EPub as well as with Kindle's proprietary software. I wasn't happy with the end product and i have to start from scratch to fix it but now i know how, ad it'll be especially useful once im ready for my next book. I learned about the pros and cons of the Amazon publishing platform, found out that your books need to be a minimum of 25 pages for paperback, 75 pages for hardcover. Ultimately trying and failing quickly in the field, for the way i learn, was more useful than meticulously taking forever. Anywho- you can look at my shit book here. Failing upwards i go! https://www.amazon.com/Flutes-Kane-Aaron-Auld-ebook/dp/B0GWVQ8WXD/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2C76SMQ1PQZ4A&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.pWA7Ri6wyPlmNNbadEvtRA.Bl6_L3AEplo9Wok2Gygo_0sS6eDsl0lnnzD5WpG-zZ8&dib_tag=se&keywords=flutes+of+kane&qid=1777138581&s=books&sbo=0oPp5w93%2FdZvu%2Bv9k%2B4HBA%3D%3D&sprefix=flutes+of+kane%2Cstripbooks%2C170&sr=1-1

Failing up
Even if you fail, if you learn from your mistakes then at least you’re failing upwards. Failing upwards is better than staying still/doing nothing.
