Inside Out Conducting
Dr. Scatterday and I discuss cross-pollination conductor training and his philosophy on "inside out" conducting. What are your thoughts on this? Should conductors be able to lead any and all types of ensembles or should they be specialists? Also, we decided we are going to re-shoot this episode because we were plagued by sound problems. Does anyone have any insight into what we did wrong?

Jo-Michael Scheibe Interview
Here is the full interview! There's lots about his formative years at the start of the video, then we get into rehearsal planning, programming tips, and working with composers. He also shares some insights of working with instrumentalists from a choral conductor's perspective. Enjoy!
