I'm conducting a Regional Festival next month and I'm curious if any of you remember your HS festival days. I remember the two Florida all-state choirs I participated in. One was amazing - Don Neuen was the conductor and I ended up doing my MM under him at Eastman. The other was so boring I can''t even remember who the conductor was! Were you inspired (or turned off) by a festival guest conductor in HS?
