My favorite scripture is: James 1:2-4 AMP Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. [3] Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. [4] And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. This verse ensures us that we may not be able to control every obstacle we enter in, but we do control the mindset we have as we navigate it! All throughout the Bible we see evidence of those who withstood the test of times through their faith in God. The Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord.” We must be deeply rooted in our faith towards God so that we can withstand the storms the enemy blows our way!
