Hey Everyone, I wanted to set the tone with a note from my experience. Mundane, but important. On the trail, in the field, in the backcountry, on on the roads, foot care is up there with the most valuable survival skills available. If you are walking holes into your feet, or not taking time to protect those "hot spots", you are doing yourself a disservice. Things to consider: 1. Do I have clean socks? 2. Do I have the capability to air out the feet? (shower shoes or sandles for example)? 3. Do I have moleskin and a pair of shears? 4. Do I have the time to stop and apply the remedy before it becomes a liability? In my experience, taking the time to consider these elements and pre-staging adjuncts leads to better outcomes (for instance, more time enjoying the movement).
