As data-driven marketers, I'm sure we're all split testing every step of our funnels all the time. Here's a problem though:
Let's say you have a sales page -> Separate order form page
Sales Letter Version A has the price and optin above the fold
Sales Letter Version B waits til halfway through the sales letter to reveal price
Order form A is longer and restates the offer stack and builds the value again
Order form B is super short and just shows the product image and price
If you're just looking at optin rate and buy rate, then Sales Letter A will likely win, however it could be that the lower number of optins for B buy at a 250% higher rate once they get to Sales letter...
Furthermore, because SL A is winning, more traffic that opted in above the fold is coming thru, which means Order form A will likely win because those people will need the offer re-stated.
But if you're just looking at CF / GHL stats, there's no way to know any of this.
So is there a software, or some way to leverage Hyros stats, to actually see a stat like this, where a potentially lower metric higher up the funnel is actually producing better results further down the funnel?
