Ok HuRU Crew… let’s talk about the thing we all know we should do... and sometimes avoid like it’s a surprise phone call from an unknown number 😅 Outreach. Calling all community connectors, business builders, networkers, and professional conversation starters: this is your moment. Because behind every collaboration, client, friendship, opportunity, and “how did we even meet?” story… there was one brave human who sent the first message. Outreach isn’t magic. It’s not slick scripts or perfect timing. It’s just deciding to be a normal human and say hello — consistently. And yet... we’ve all stared at a blinking cursor thinking: 👉 “Is this weird?” 👉 “Do I sound salesy?” 👉 “Should I rewrite this for the 9th time?” So let’s normalize the awkward and learn from each other. What’s your top outreach move? Your secret sauce? Your “this actually works and doesn’t feel gross” strategy? Drop it below. Help the rest of the crew send the message they’ve been overthinking all week 💬 What’s your outreach weapon of choice? A) Personalized DMs (thoughtful sniper mode) B) Comment-first engagement (slow burn rapport) C) Voice/video messages (high risk, high charm) D) In-person conversations (raw, unfiltered, no escape) E) Something totally different (but since you asked nicely, I'll tell you) Bonus: which one makes you sweat a little — and why? Let’s make outreach less scary and a lot more fun. 🚀

🎉 Welcome to The HuRU Crew! 🏷️✨
Meet Nice People. Make Great Friends. Build Cool Communities. Hey there, friend 👋 If you’re reading this, you’ve wandered into something brand new - something kinda quirky, kinda brilliant, and definitely built with you in mind. This isn’t a guru circle or a sales pitch party. Nope. This is where the weird, the warm, and the wonderful people come to hang out, help out, and shout out other cool humans. We’re still putting the snacks on the table, but soon this place will be full of: 🫶 Creators & community builders 💬 Random, late-night idea sharers 🚀 Folks building businesses (or just building relationships) 🎨 The occasionally unhinged doodle from our Name Badge mascot... So drop a comment below or even better, create your own post. Or do both! Whichever you choose... answer this: 💥 Hu R U? And, what do U do? Tell us something unexpected, chill, or wildly unimportant about yourself. No pressure. Just fun. Let the randomness begin. 💫
Anybody ever feel upside down? 🙃
I used to try to flip myself right-side up as fast as possible. Fix it. Solve it. Normalize it. Move on. But somewhere along the way, I realized something important: Sometimes the upside-down view is exactly what I need. When everything feels inverted, it forces you to notice things you’d normally ignore. What felt like a problem might actually be a pattern. What felt uncomfortable might be showing you truth. What felt “wrong” might just be... unfamiliar. Perspective isn’t about getting back to normal. It's about seeing more clearly — even if that means hanging out upside down for a bit. Before you rush to flip things back... pause. There might be insight waiting right where you are. Quick poll (because HuRU loves perspective): When life feels upside down, what helps you most? Vote below 👇And if you’ve got a favorite “upside-down insight,” drop it in the comments.
