When your son, daughter or spouse ships out to Army basic training, the hardest part is the silence and not knowing what comes next. HQ Insiders is the private community from Beyond Basic HQ, built by an Army family that's been through it.
What's inside
- Members-only briefings for Fort Benning, Fort Jackson, Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Sill, plus Airborne, Option 40 / RASP and Option 18.
- The unofficial week-by-week, how the scripted call really works, mail that arrives, and what Family Day and graduation are like.
- Families going through it at the same time as you, sorted by post and path.
Why a private community?
- Screened members only, on its own secure platform. No ads, no scammers, no public posts.
- OPSEC built in: units, photos and graduation dates are welcome inside; mailing addresses, troop movements and deployments stay out.
Not affiliated with the U.S. Army or the Department of Defense. For family emergencies, contact the American Red Cross at 1-877-272-7337.
