Have you ever played competitive golf? ๐ค
There are levels to "How You Golf".
Fun with friends. Solitude playing solo. Fundraiser team outings. Corporate connection rounds. The list goes on.
But ONE style of How You Golf offers a truly unique electricity that runs through the competitive part of a soul. A tournament round where something is on the line.
Whether you win cash, a trophy, or any other prize; when you play competitive golf, every single shot carries greater weight than other types of golf.
The last time I played in a competitive round of golf was when I was playing High School Golf. Since then, it's only been Long Drive. Until last weekend...
I'll keep the long story short for you guys because I actually filmed the entire round and will share it here when the edit is done. ๐ฌ
I joined a local golf club and went out for the first time with them for the first "major" of the year held on May 2nd. Tons of fun, great group of guys, and some good competition.
I hit the ball really well, but I putt like my life depended on it and I was trying my best to kick the bucket early ๐ฃ I mean literally the worst putter performance of my life out there.
In the end, I finished 8th in Gross and 6th in Net (outside the money).
Loads of knowledge gained, and I've already taken action to fix some things (hint...stay tuned for a goodie in the coming week or so). Also made some awesome connections that are already cooking up some great things from this round. High ROI golf in ANY round of golf ๐
That name atop the Gross leaderboard is Mr. who actually shot his worst score in the 5 rounds prior I think it was. Several of which were under par ๐ฅ If you have never played competitive golf, I HIGHLY encourage you to make it happen. Even if it's just playing for 10 pushups per hole, or a dollar per hole, or even $5 per 9 holes. Just get something on the line and learn from the pressure.
Any guesses what goodie I have incoming to share?
