Welcome to the Page How to Survive Be Human
Hey y’all welcome to How to Survive Being Human! 💫 If you made it here, congratulations, because that alone means you’ve already survived some things you probably didn’t think you could. This space is all about that messy middle, the awkward parts, the “why is adulthood like this?” moments — and somehow still finding joy and humor in it. I’m Chasity. I’m tired, but I’m here. 😅 I’ve been through enough life for a mini-series, but I still believe in people, healing, and the little moments that make us laugh when we probably should be crying. So we’re gonna talk, we’re gonna learn, and we’re gonna breathe. This is your soft landing spot on the internet where it’s safe to be honest, spiritual, funny, and human at the same time. I’m actually going to have a good time in here cause I’m here for healing as well. My family on my Socials so I can’t go be all honest over there. So imma be spilling my tea. And while we on the subject I’m a long winded person so hell yes I use chat gpt . I know how to prompt it. Who got time to be doing all this extra writing. So I’m still working on some stuff but as I am an actual writer till my curriculum is done and beyond I’ll be dropping some Poetry and songs I like or written . Ok then Have a good Night
Friday Vibes
🍂 Friday Check-In: How to Survive Being Human This Weekend 🍂 Step one: breathe. Step two: go outside — seriously. Let the wind remind you that you’re alive and healing, not behind. Step three: step away from the screen. Step into some sunshine. Watch the leaves show off a little. You deserve to witness something simple and beautiful. Step four: rest without guilt. The world spins even when you slow down. You don’t have to fix everything this weekend. You don’t have to be productive, profound, or perfectly put together. Just be a person. A real one. 🍁 Happy Friday, friends. Let the weekend hold you gently. 🍁

How I survived being Human Today
How I Survived Being Human Today I fought with Canva. We fought for about two and a half hours. I went from computer to phone, back to computer, back to phone like I was in a toxic relationship with technology. I just wanted to download my slideshow. I was so excited to put up my 1st classroom. However trying to download was a problem at least for me lol. Canva said no. I said yes. Canva said no again. Eventually, it gave up and flooded my phone with 60 of the same pictures (I only needed six, but fine).Whatevs. I can always go and delete them lol. Time consuming. Whatevs. I got them in the phone. Since it wanted to have a lil attitude Then I tried to upload everything into my skool classroom, thinking it would be simple. It wasn’t.At least not for me. No clear instructions, just a button and no clear next slide. But I kept going a bit frustrated and it was only a little after 2. Too early for 🍻 drinks lol. Happy Hour Doesnt start till 3 in Brooklyn lol 😆. But I just told my grandson last night, “We don’t give up.” So I didn’t. I just clicked and clicked and clicked till something happened and I still Had to edit lol 😂 And after all that my first classroom lesson is officially up. And That’s how I survived being human today. Frustrated with technology, Still don't know if I did it right but I think it's up. Sometimes the “simple” things are the hardest things At least for me But I did it anyway. My 1st classroom the letters are small I couldn't get the fonts how I wanted..And plz click the checkmark to green that's how you get credit for completing the course Thank you

IF by Rudyard Kipling
One of My favorite poems from childhood is if by Rudyard Kipling. It’s absolutely perfect in teaching us that we fall down but we have to get back up again . This is beginning week poetry just because. Please enjoy and by midweek please look for the class discussion. Enjoy and be Encouraged. If by Rudyard Kipling If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream and not make dreams your master; If you can think and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And which is more you’ll be a Man, my son!
