Stamina exercise 😮‍💨
🎵Have you ever had a practice session and took way too many breaks? Or practiced to a full 3 minute song but got so tired and had less energy after just 1 minute into the dance? This is why we should practice ✨stamina✨ Stamina is an exercise that gets your heart racing. Do you know that moment when your half way through a dance and you start breathing heavier and faster and you feel your heart going faster? Thats the same feeling you get when you do a stamina exercise such as running, jogging, jumping, boxing, etc Its a fast movement that gets your heart racing and you sweating. Stamina can help us with dance because it helps us build endurance with dance. It can help us train our bodies to run for longer or dance for longer. You must focus on your breathing when you dance, or when you run, when you practice stamina in general. So remember to breathe and keep it slow and deep rather than fast breath. That will help you gain control on how long you can keep going for, even if its hard you will get there with time. Start slow and gain endurance over time. Don’t push yourself too much right away because you will have no breath or energy later and it can be dangerous for your health. 👀Watch the video below and then give it a practice 1. Put on a timer and dance/freestyle for 30 seconds then rest for 30 seconds and continue doing this until the end of the song 🎵 2. Slowly start increasing the time to 1 minute and then 2 and then the full song but only rest for the same amount of time you danced for. You can do this exercise in just a day or for more results once a week for a month at least (TIP: don’t sit down, walk around slowly and focus on your breathing)😮‍💨 3. After you have practiced this exercise (even if you tried it once) comment below this post how you felt, did you run out of breath and get tired easy? Did you feel like 30 seconds was easy for you and you could dance for longer with shorter breaks? Did it help you build more stamina? 𝓯𝓪𝓒𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓻 Todays challenge is to dance for a family member or friend or even in public if you dare. 💖Reply to this with your favourite heart emoji once you have done the challenge This is the last confidence challenge for the month and all of these challenges so far has slowly built your self confidence up so that you feel it on the inside, but the only way to get over the fear is to get up and do it! And keep doing it until it becomes normal and easy for you 👏🏻Consistency is key, if you keep showing up and keep putting yourself out there it starts to feel so easy and your nerves disappear like magic. The hard part is starting but once you start the rest is easy and worth it This challenge is optional but I hope everyone faces their fear in the next 3 days otherwise you wont be taking that next step towards becoming a better dancer and you will always wonder “what would have happened if i did”
