Good Afternoon
STEADFAST SATURDAY
PRAYER
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the gift of this new day and for carrying us through another week. Thank You for the blessings we celebrated and the prayers You answered, but today Lord, I especially thank You for the trials.
Because it is in those difficult moments that You stretch us, strengthen us, humble us, and remind us who we are. The hard seasons reveal what we are truly made of. They teach us endurance when we feel weak, courage when we feel afraid, and faith when we cannot yet see the outcome.
Every setback carried a lesson.Every delay carried purpose.Every obstacle forced growth.
And while grateful feels far too small a word for everything You continue to do in our lives, it is the best offering we have to place before You today.
Lord, help us become better than we were yesterday. More patient with people. More disciplined in our choices. More compassionate toward those carrying burdens we cannot see. More willing to trust You when life does not make sense.
Please be with those who are hurting. Wrap them in peace and comfort that only You can provide.
Please be with those battling sickness, exhaustion, and pain. Lay Your healing hands upon them and bring strength to weary bodies and discouraged hearts.
Please guide those who feel lost, overwhelmed, uncertain, or broken. Bring clarity where confusion lives and hope where fear has settled in.
And Lord, for every person You have called into leadership, mentorship, parenting, teaching, ministry, caregiving, or service, pour into them deeply. Refill those who spend their lives pouring into everyone else. Give them wisdom, patience, discernment, and strength so they may lead with integrity, compassion, and clarity.
Help us never forget that every ability, every opportunity, and every breath we have comes from You.
It is in Jesus’ name we pray,Amen.
MESSAGE
Some of y’all are asking God for a miracle while ignoring the assignment He already handed you.
You keep praying for doors to open while standing in front of the very one He already unlocked because it looks hard, uncomfortable, inconvenient, or requires effort before reward.
Faith is not sitting on the couch waiting for destiny to ring the doorbell.
Faith gets up early.Faith works when nobody is clapping.Faith keeps planting seeds when the field still looks empty.Faith trusts God enough to move before the full picture is visible.
Some people want harvest season with zero planting season.That is not how life works.That is not how purpose works.And that is definitely not how growth works.
You do not build strength avoiding resistance.You do not build wisdom avoiding responsibility.You do not build character constantly choosing comfort over discipline.
And let’s be honest for a minute.
Some people are exhausted not because life is unfair, but because they are carrying things God never told them to carry in the first place.
Other people’s opinions.Other people’s approval.Other people’s drama.Other people’s excuses.
Friend, if God assigned it to you, He will equip you for it.If He did not assign it to you, stop dragging it around like a clearance sale emotional support package.
Some of y’all need rest.Some of y’all need boundaries.Some of y’all need water and protein.And some of y’all need to quit hitting snooze on the purpose God keeps trying to wake up inside you.
You survived things that should have buried you.You rebuilt after things that should have broken you.You kept going while carrying pain nobody else even knew about.
That is not weakness.That is proof God has been sustaining you this entire time.
So take the step.Make the call.Write the plan.Start the business.Apply for the opportunity.Have the difficult conversation.Pray the dangerous prayer.Trust God enough to move forward even when fear is screaming louder than faith.
Because one day you are going to look back at this season and realize the very thing you thought was breaking you was actually building you.
