Prayer
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for allowing us a new day, the opportunity to be better today than we were yesterday, and the gift of time with family.
Father, this one is personal.
My daughter is in the hospital right now, facing heart issues at just 41 years old. Lord, I ask You to be with her in every moment. Guide the hands and minds of the heart specialists as they prepare to place a pacemaker. Give them clarity, precision, and wisdom beyond their training. Wrap her in Your peace.
For those who are sick, lay Your healing hands upon them. For those who feel lost, bring clarity and direction. For those carrying silent burdens, remind them they are not alone.
Message
Life has a way of waking you up, and it is not always gentle. It does not ask permission. It reminds you quickly what truly matters.
We spend so much time worrying about things that will not matter in five years, and not enough time protecting the moments that do.
Call the person you have been meaning to call.Say the words you have been holding back.Forgive quicker.Hug longer.Pray deeper.Show up fully, even when it is uncomfortable. Because none of us are promised later.
God is still in the middle of it.Still working.Still healing.Still writing stories that circumstances do not get to finish.
So today, be TENACIOUS about what matters.
Be tenacious about your faith.Be tenacious about your people.Be tenacious about showing up for the life you have been given. And let’s be honest, we will spend two hours organizing a junk drawer but hesitate to take five minutes to check on someone we love. That needs to change.
