Ask yourself, “Is this a memory, a fear, or a fact?” P — Practice: Choose one small shift — a breath, a pause, a kinder thought, a different tone with yourself. Let the shift be small but intentional. E — Engage: Do one thing that supports your well-being today. It could be a five-minute break, drinking water, stepping outside, journaling, or giving yourself permission to rest. Sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is slow down. Rest doesn’t mean you’ve stopped growing — it means you’re giving your mind and body space to catch up with your heart. Healing often happens in the quiet moments: the walk outside, the long shower, the deep breath that reminds you you’re safe now. Today’s HOPE Shift: H — Honor your need for rest. O — Observe any guilt that tries to talk you out of it. P — Practice giving yourself permission to pause. E — Engage in something that replenishes your energy — even five minutes of stillness counts.
