Homeschooling isn’t a polished system—it’s a beta test. A cycle of test, try, fail, fix, repeat that no one prepares you for. I started this community because homeschooling didn’t tap me on the shoulder… it shoved me into the deep end. My husband and I realized our neurodivergent son didn’t fit the traditional school model, and suddenly we were building a learning environment from scratch.
We tried everything.Unschooling. Structured schooling. Online private school. Hybrid programs. If it existed, we tested it. If it broke, we rebuilt it. If it worked, we celebrated… briefly.
But here’s the good news: my kiddos are all adults now. We made it. Not perfectly, not Pinterest‑pretty—but intentionally, creatively, and with a whole lot of persistence.
This community is for parents navigating the same messy, beautiful experiment. A place for honesty, real solutions, shared stories, and encouragement for every version of “doing your best.”
