To get started, you’ll want: Sewing machine (or let us know if you need options) Fabric scissors Measuring tape Pins or clips Seam ripper Thread Iron/pressing (recommended) We’ll post project-specific supply lists inside each class/course.

Helpful Sewing Tutorial (Not ours, but worth saving) ✂️🧵
I found this tutorial online and it explains hemming a skirt hem with a slit. (Creator- Sewing_tutorial_and_tools) How to use it (Hitchye tip): Watch video Try and Practice for 10 minutes using scrap fabric Bring questions to class / post them here After you watch: comment “HEM” and tell me what fabric you’re working with (cotton, satin, knit, etc.) and I’ll tell you the best needle/thread settings.
