God and Prospering
Does God want to prosper you? Us? Has he rescued you from the punishment for sin? Has he rescued Me? If the answer is surely he has, then of course he longs to prosper us financially, but I can promise you that he won’t if it means sacrificing or doing away with the Spirit behind 2nd Corinthians 1:3&4. That said, 3 John 1:2 says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, **even as thy soul prospereth**." That said, are those which do walk with God, not already prospering greatly? God and Prospering
So Great is Their Conflation
"And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, an wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye you hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said." (Genesis 18:1-5) 1. Who appeared unto Abraham in the plains of Mamre? (The Answer is in verse 1) 2. Could Moses have not mentioned angels or a combination of beings in Genesis 18:1 or 18:2? He certainly did when he began Genesis 19. So, the answer is an obvious yes. 3. How many individuals are there in Genesis 18? (The answer is 5 and not 1 of them was an angel) That said, pastor upon pastor upon pastor will still; well, conflate away - creating at best an UNSAVORY SHEPHERD'S PIE out of Genesis 18:1 & 2 and Genesis 19:1. The LORD is interested in the affairs of men and has loved us with an everlasting love. I believe that he wants us to experience himself: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (1st John 1:3) PRO TIP, when in doubt rely solely upon what is evidenced or there. I will refrain from naming the denomination here which teaches that Moses' phrase "The LORD" in Genesis 18:1, indicates only one member of "The Trinity" and two angels, but it is a large. _____ #TheLORD #Abraham #Genesis #Genesis18 #Sarah #BibleStudy #verseoftheday #God #Jesus #HolySpirit

The Curious Case of the Weres (Part II)
"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depths of the sea." (Matthew 18:6) _____ There's common gif floating around X, formerly Twitter, and it speaks to the punishment for harming children. Said gif shows a man drowning and a millstone is hanged about his neck by a rope. The millstone is located toward the bottom of the frame, with a rope of above it, and the perpetrator has been pulled under headfirst. I believe it is going to go infinitely worse for those which abuse children - in particular for the Pedophile and/or the adult that beats up on kids. It does seem as though there is a broader application which could be applied though - to include the "adult" which encumbers a child via an ungodly education or anything "woke" which is contrary to the word of God. #Matthew18 #Jesus #Children

The Curious Case of the Weres (Part I)
Theirs is not always pride. I am well aware. However, sometimes it is, and sometimes, there is a contingent of know-it-alls that love to toss terms around like Hematidrosis. I mean it sounds intelligent right? More than a few pastors include said term in their sermons which include Luke 2:44, but did Jesus really sweat great drops of blood?" In the Garden of Gethsemane? Of a surety, he would bleed profusely shortly thereafter. Would it minimize his agony however if he was sweating profusely as he prayed to God and our Father and his sweat contained no blood? Let's examine Luke 22:44 together, shall we? "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his >sweat< was as it were (a great comparison) great drops of blood falling to the ground." (Luke 22:44) Most people think of Fiddler on the Roof and, "If I WERE a rich man, Yubby, dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum. All day long I'd biddy biddy bum, If I were a wealthy man." (Indicating the vocalist was anything but a wealthy man." Jesus was in great agony, and the Christ weight of that which he was here for was grievous. That said, he did not sweat great drops of blood. All pastors and televangelists would do well to read God's word, sit down and be still. Furthermore, and if there was zero blood in Jesus' sweat that night, it would have in no way changed the immense amount of weight which would surely take place in the space of very little time. Between Jesus' reaching out to his Father in the garden and when he would breathe his last, there would be enough blood to go around. I would like to hear from you. Hit that reply button.
