I'm an EDDA with 15+ years in the dental field, helping with front and back of dental offices.
One of the biggest reasons I created this space is because nobody told me that in many states, dental assistants can begin through on-the-job training. I had already spent money on school before I learned there were multiple pathways into the dental field.
This community was created to help future dental professionals explore careers in dentistry, learn the fundamentals, and build confidence before their first day in a dental office or classroom.
