Community Guidelines
Her Empowered Mind — Community Guidelines 1) Our Purpose A supportive space for women to rewire mindset, release self-sabotage, and rise in confidence—together. 2) Our Values Kindness first — assume good intent, speak to uplift. Confidentiality — what’s shared here stays here. Self-responsibility — share your truth, own your choices. Diversity & inclusion — all backgrounds and identities are welcome. Growth over perfection — progress is celebrated. 3) How to Post & Engage Use clear titles and add the best category (e.g., Introductions, Mindset Tools, Wins, Breakthroughs, Events). Share from lived experience (“I” statements) rather than generalisations or advice-giving. Ask before analysing someone’s post: “Would you like ideas or just listening?” Celebrate wins, offer empathy, and keep feedback specific, kind, and actionable. 4) Consent & Boundaries DMs require consent. Ask in comments before messaging another member. No sharing screenshots or stories outside the group without explicit permission. You may step back anytime. Silence can be self-care; we honor it. 5) Safety & Sensitive Topics Add a Content Note at the top for heavy topics (e.g., CN: grief/trauma). No graphic detail. Crisis content: this community can hold space, but we’re not a crisis service. If you’re in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or crisis lines. 6) Coaching vs Therapy (Important) This is an educational/coaching space—not medical, legal, or therapeutic advice. If a post reads like therapy is needed, we’ll lovingly signpost resources. 7) Self-Promotion & Offers Value first. Share helpful posts freely. Promo is allowed in the “Offers & Resources” category once per week per member. No cold DMs or pressure tactics. If you run an event, include: what it is, who it helps, date/time, and how to join. 8) Events & Calls Etiquette Arrive a few minutes early; rename yourself as First Name – Location if you like. Cameras are welcome, never required.

Friday Night Was an Awards Ceremony… But It Was Also a Reminder
Friday night, I attended an awards ceremony where I was honoured to be named a finalist for the work I do through Her Empowered Mind. Walking into that room — surrounded by leaders, trailblazers, and people making real impact — I had one of those moments where you quietly think: “Wow. Look how far I’ve come.” Not because it’s about trophies or titles (they’re lovely, but they’re not the point). But because years ago, after my injury, after leaving my corporate job, after rebuilding myself piece by piece… I genuinely questioned who I was without my old identity. And now? Now I get to help women overcome self-sabotage, step into their power, and rewire their beliefs around what’s possible for them. Being a finalist wasn’t just a professional milestone — it was a deeply personal one. It reminded me that: ✨ Healing creates space for alignment. ✨ Purpose often rises from the parts of our story we thought were “broken.” ✨ And when you choose yourself — the world reflects it back. I didn’t win the award that night (or maybe I did — either way the message stays the same)…but what I DID win was the experience of standing proudly in the identity I once questioned. To every woman in this community: Don’t wait for permission. Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Don’t wait to feel “ready.” Your future self is already cheering for you. Start walking toward her today. 💛🔥

I Went Back to My Old High School… And Something Powerful Happened
On Thursday, I stood on a stage I never imagined I’d return to — the stage at my old high school. The last time I walked those corridors, I was a teenager with big dreams and very little confidence. I had no idea that life would take me on the journey it did. I spoke to the students about dreams, detours, and the way life has a funny way of leading you back to what’s truly meant for you. I shared the story of telling my school careers advisor that I wanted to be a firefighter, and being told, “Maybe something more suitable for a girl.” And I shared the truth I didn’t know then: 👉 Other people’s limitations don’t have to become your limitations. I celebrated the students who got the results they hoped for…And I spoke directly to the ones who didn’t — reminding them that a result is just a moment, not a destiny. I told them about my 2017 head injury, how it forced me to leave my corporate job, and how exactly one year to the day later…I received my firefighter contract. A full-circle moment. A reset. A reminder that alignment always finds you. And standing there in front of those students, sharing the chapters of my story I once felt ashamed of, I realised: ✨ We never know who needs to hear our journey.✨ We never know who it will inspire to choose courage over fear.✨ And we never know whose future we are helping shape, simply by showing what’s possible. It was an honour — and a reminder of why I do the work I do here in this community. If you take anything from this today, let it be this: You are never behind. You are becoming. And the path meant for you will always find its way back. 💛

Hi founding members!
If you are seeing this, congratulations, you will be one of my wonderful founding members! Anyone who joins my community before the end of September will be classed as a founding member with lifetime privileges. This is a way for me to give back to you for supporting this journey by giving you first access to a number of training programs and lots of goodies! So...I am interested to know, what stops you from being your best self? I'll go first - self sabotage. This is something I work hard on and have developed a way to spot when I do this.
