How Classroom lessons work (read this)
Classroom is the backbone of Career Ops. Career Ops Core (open to members) 1. Tier 1 — Pre-Bootcamp Prep 2. Tier 2 — Tech Job Hunting 3. Tier 3 — Enterprise & Cloud Literacy Complete Tier 1 in order before jumping ahead in Core. Advanced tracks (Level 3+) Specialty courses Tier 4–19 unlock at Skool Level 3 (20 native points from likes on your posts/comments). See the pinned Levels post for the honest unlock table. Every lesson follows the same structure so you know what “done” looks like: 1. Learning objectives — what you will be able to do 2. Why this matters — career / exam / job context 3. Core teaching — the deep explanation (not a topic dump) 4. Common mistakes — what to avoid 5. Check your understanding — short self-check 6. Lab / action item — proof to post 7. Key takeaways — the durable points Rules of engagement • Post labs and wins with screenshots or artifacts in Wins & Accountability • Resume drafts go in Resume & Job Hunt Help with a specific ask • Technical/career questions with context go in Ask Henry • Never invent experience, certs, or clearance on materials you share here Tools are optional helpers. Mastery of the topic is the standard. That’s the Career Ops bar. — Henry

START HERE — Welcome to Career Ops
Read this once. Then do the work. This is Henry Jenkins Mentorship — a Pre-Bootcamp & Post-Exam Career Accelerator. The member path is Career Ops: foundations before the bootcamp, job ops after the exam. I am Henry Jenkins — CTO, U.S. Army veteran, CompTIA instructor. I treat this like a mission: clear standards, consistent reps, honest after-action reviews. You are a founding member while we build. Career Ops Core (Tiers 1–3) is open now. Advanced tracks (Tiers 4–19) unlock at Skool Level 3 (20 points from likes). The work standard does not change when paid Career Ops opens later. Standards over shortcuts. This week: Introductions + Tier 1 Lesson 1 + one Win. Your first 7 days: 1) Post your intro in Introductions (background, goal, target role). 2) Open Classroom → Tier 1 → Lesson 1 and finish it. 3) Complete Lesson 2 this week — networking fundamentals with proof in Wins & Accountability. 4) Read How Classroom lessons work so you know Core vs Advanced. 5) Read the pinned Levels post (native Skool points — likes unlock Level 3 Advanced). 6) Show up to the next live Q&A on the Calendar. Where to post: • Introductions — bio first • Wins & Accountability — screenshots, labs, scores • Resume & Job Hunt Help — drafts + specific ask • Ask Henry (Q&A) — real questions with context • General Discussion — everything else Certified isn’t hired. Foundations + proof + job ops are. Let’s build. — Henry

How Levels & Rewards Work in Career Ops
Career Ops rewards real community engagement. Skool levels use native points — you earn points when other members like your posts and comments (1 like ≈ 1 point). We do not use custom lesson XP the platform cannot award. Skool levels (official thresholds) Level 1 — The Recruit (0): Community + Career Ops Core (Tiers 1–3 open) Level 2 — The Operator (5): Recognition on the leaderboard — keep posting Wins & Introductions Level 3 — The Analyst (20): Advanced Classroom unlocks — Tiers 4–19 (specialty tracks) Level 4 — The Architect (65): Recognition — active contributor Level 5 — The CISO (155): Recognition + priority for live hot-seats when offered Level 6 — The Strategist (515): Invite path to Premium Mentorship (paid seats when open) — not an automatic course dump Classroom access (enforced in course settings) Career Ops Core — Open to all members (founding / Core): • Tier 1 — Pre-Bootcamp Prep • Tier 2 — Tech Job Hunting • Tier 3 — Enterprise Architecture & Cloud Advanced tracks — Level 3+ (20 native points): • Tiers 4–19 — specialty career tracks (Terraform through CI/CD Platform Engineering) When paid Career Ops Advanced membership opens, specialty tracks may also move to a paid tier. Until then, Level 3 is the honest unlock enforced on each Advanced course. How to level up (honest) • Post in Introductions, Wins & Accountability, Resume help, or Ask Henry • Comment helpfully on other members’ posts • Show up to live Ask Henry — then post a takeaway so others can like it • Likes from members move the leaderboard — that is the only points system Skool enforces Standards over shortcuts. Complete Tier 1 in order before jumping Advanced tracks. — Henry

Background: Enterprise architecture and security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Goal here: Mentorship with standards — clear reps, honest after-action reviews, no invented experience. Target for members: Hireable proof, not just another cert. Your turn: post your intro — background, goal, and target role. Then open Classroom → Tier 1 → Lesson 1. — Henry
