Recently came into hard times and became homeless. I never thought it would be me but here I am. After seeing what little resources there are for people I ve decided to do what I can to provide shelter for as many as possible. As a Canadian citizen we take on refugees from other countries. Well what about our own citizens who need that help before giving shelter to someone from a different country. No I am not a racsist but I do believe in taking care of our own first and foremost. I am 3 weeks into being homeless and it is inspiring to see how helpful the homeless are not just to each other but to everyone. One of these people took me in and gave me shelter in his very small tent. This man has been homeless for 10 years after searching for his son that he has not seen in 34 years. He spent every last cent he had trying to do so. I ve decided that maybe with some money and a little help we can purchase some buildings and start taking our own off the streets

Hard times hit everyone don’t be embarrassed to ask for help. With the very little resources that are available.
