What can the Now Edition offer readers?
As I explain in some blog posts, I want to read the latest about Topic X, but I also want to go deep - for non-fiction, that would be the history of ... AI, or Israel, or ... what have you. Oh, speaking of Israel, this is a FAR more capable way to tell where we're at with the current war on Iraq and the history of the region... a timeline that is superbly curated AND comes up to TODAY. Context is king. From drones to clones, as I like to say - this will be a GREAT option for people who are experts in whatever field we're talking about, and don't just want a one-hit book buy but want a long-term relationship and to be seen as a wise person with the history AND the currency/latest. Oh and then there's the idea that you click an arrow and a debate/discussion/argument about this passage or that chapter is RIGHT THERE on the right side. Perhaps like Medium you can highlight a sentence/paragraph of note and dive deep in the comments RIGHT ON THE PAGE. It makes a book a "living thing," not JUST because it has the freshness of new developments married to the depth of knowledge, BUT because the reader interaction (and with the author(s)! feel more rewarding, fulfilling - AND can provide valuable info/views that could inform the NEXT update.
