A few years ago, one of my helicopter buddies was making the move to the airlines. He remarked to me, "Man, everyone is just so willing to help each other out. I don't know why we don't have that in the helicopter industry."
Whether it's ego, gate keeping, or any other reason, I completely agree. That's why I created this group. Members with higher levels of experience will be able to provide much needed insight that they wished they had while coming up in the industry. Members with lower experience can reduce their knowledge gap, and make career decisions and progressions much more effectively. The end state will be a more informed pilot pool, and that will hopefully reduce frustration.
