Monday Rotor roundup
It’s Monday! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed some Vitamin D!…. I wanna mix it up a bit today and ask you guys and gals if any of y’all may be interested in some heli swag?…. I’m thinking of getting into some little stuff to start and then expanding in the future. Have some cool ideas for hats, stickers, sweaters etc… in order to sell things on Skool there are additional fees so just putting the vibe out here first to see if there may be any interest? Thanks everyone! Have a great week! Fly safe out there and have FUN!!!

Today let’s talk about slingin humans… or meatballin as some like to call it. So many important things to talk about when slinging humans. Many advantages such as your load talks to you. Communication is very important in some cases but sometimes hand signals work just fine. It’s important to brief your crews accordingly and know your crews have the proper training to get the job done. Situational awareness as always is high on the list as well as CRM. Know your out and know your limits. Always be sure to do your high reccee as well as a low level pass before going into a spot for the first time. Also helpful to throw ticker tape down to mark your location for the return. Have your staging area and know where you’re going in the event of an emergency. Happy Hump day everyone! Fly safe and have fun!

Sunday Rotor roundup
Happy Sunday Funday yall!!! Today let’s talk about power reserve! As Summer approaches the temp she is a risin! And of course with that being said we must be a lil more diligent with our reserve when filling out our weight and balance for the day. Especially if you’re flyin in the mountains. Not all machines are stellar performers at altitude! Mainly when it’s hot outside! Don’t forget to give a quick reference to your WAT charts if flyin the 212 or your out of ground hover charts. The B3 is nice for doin calculations on the fly. Anyways just a friendly reminder to check your charts and know the limits of whatever sky chariot you may be flyin. As always fly safe and have fun!!!
