Hello Family. Welcome🫂. I am so excited to be your new English instructor. I am dedicated to helping multilingual learners build confidence speaking English. My passion for pronunciation and clear communication comes from my own family story. I grew up with a Latino grandmother from Puerto Rico who had a strong accent and often felt ashamed speaking English. Seeing her experience inspired me to help others feel confident and proud when speaking a new language.
I specialize in English pronunciation, conversational English, and practical communication skills for everyday life, work, and community interactions. I create supportive, interactive lessons that focus on clear speech, real-life conversations, and building confidence.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY New Paltz in Black and Women’s History and a Master’s degree in TESOL from McDaniel College. I am also certified to teach ESL Pre-K through 12th grade and Spanish.
