The short version is that I met a mother red wolf who broke my heart open with her heart break and coming to me . . . with it. . . . there is more to this story, which I will share with you here. But first, the most important thing I learned after 13 years of caring for what I call The Emissary Wolf Pack, they heal very quickly and it is because they live in a pack, in a group, their own little wolf village. I believe as we used to heal in "villages," in small groups, families, tribes, humanity's healing capabilities used to be found in spirit, in community, in prayer, in herbs, in ancient healing secrets known by indigenous and village healers, mothers, sisters, lovers, healed with love, but with other things too. . . . This community is all about that. About THE HEALING VILLAGE. the way we used to heal. in villages, . . . from methods that are fully human. not mechanical, not scientific, not studied, not expert, not MD, not cold rooms with knives and screens, instead, it was music, dancing, laughter, care, real care, deep care that comes when people know you deeply, over time.
