🔥 Do Something Every Day That Makes You Feel “Dumb” 🔥 This might sound strange, but it’s one of the most life-saving practices I’ve discovered—especially for those of us who are high-achievers, perfectionists, and seekers of greatness. When you’re driven, it’s easy to avoid the things that truly challenge you. Instead, you fill your days with what you’ve already mastered—skills you’ve carried since childhood, responsibilities you’ve shouldered for others, and roles you’ve played to survive. This cycle often keeps us stuck in patterns of codependency, always caring for others while neglecting our own growth. ✨ But here’s the truth: The part of you that fears being seen as less-than-perfect, foolish, or failing—that’s the beast you must face. The best way to tame that beast? 💡 Step into situations where you don’t know what you’re doing. 💡 Try something that scares you. 💡 Give yourself permission to fail—because failure is how we grow. Every time you confront this resistance, you retrain your nervous system, rewrite your beliefs, and open the door to true greatness and joy. So, my challenge has been drumming. Keeping a consistent timing and beat and pattern especially complex patterns is incredibly difficult for me. Drumming has been terrifying for me. So, I’ve been taking drumming classes sporadically, and today I committed to buying my own drum. Now I have no excuse to not practice and I’m gonna set that drum out in the middle of the living room so it’s hard to avoid. What can you do today that makes you feel dumb? 🌱 Don’t let perfectionism rule your life. Choose growth over comfort. ✨ Want support learning how to break these patterns and step into your creative genius?
