Hi,I’ve been using MyFitnessPal to track my calories and macros. It’s a good tool, but I do find it gets a bit repetitive and clunky - especially when you’re planning meals ahead or doing bulk prep. I’ve been looking for ways to log my standard meals and go-to favourites more easily, and I’ve just discovered a couple of features on the free version that I didn’t know existed:
(a) You can copy meals from one day to the next
(b) You can group ingredients and “Save as a Meal” (with a photo of the final dish)
I’d always worried that I’d need to manually enter loads of ingredients every time I ate a home cooked meal. Thought it was worth sharing in case it helps save you some time too. Here’s a video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I5iNATxkag ...I guess it then comes down to splitting meals down evenly when serving and placing them in containers, so they’re evenly spread with the right calorie split (won’t always be 100% accurate each meal, but roughly right).
Cheers
