My brother wrote this to his children and I wanted to share this thought with you…”A friend of mine who is younger than I am passed away recently. It was very unexpected, and it's weird to think that his wife, who is also younger than I am, is a widow. When I heard the news that morning, I thought of how sad that is. Almost immediately, I feel like the Spirit helped me with two simple words - for now. Because of the hope that we have through the Savior of life after death and of a glorious Resurrection, death is sad, for now. Eventually, we will be reunited with that person that we love in ways that will be a blessing to us forever. This doesn't just apply to death. I think about just about any challenge that we face in life, and we can say that it's hard, for now. We also know that we will someday get a chance to leave behind all the challenges of this life that are both physical and mental. It is comforting, especially as we approach the Easter season, to remember that all sadness and challenge that we face are all temporary because of the Savior and what He did for us.”
