Day 5 - Faithfulness
WHEW! This chapter was one of the TOUGH ones. Yet, very vital. I'll never forget when I heard Dr. Miles Monroe state, "Stop making decisions, and start studying consequences." It's forever marked me. What about you? How did todays Chapter challenge you?
HAPPY 4th of JULY! And a Devotional!
I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL day celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the US! Thankful for this group and know I’ve been praying over all of you by name! My Pops shared this message with me from his friend General Michaels and I wanted to share it with you. “In America, we have long celebrated the spirit of rugged individualism, where we forge our own path and depend on no one. That ideal is praiseworthy and has inspired generations to dream boldly and persevere through adversity. But the Kingdom of God offers a profound paradox. Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” It suggests that the strongest person is not the one who is self reliant, but the one who leans and depends on God. That dependence on God is the highest expression of freedom to pursue our purpose. God, in His love, grants every person the unconditional and immutable freedom to obey Him or reject Him. Therefore any freedom that can be taken away by circumstances, governments, or hardship was never ours to begin with. So as we celebrate the 4 of July, perhaps our greatest declaration is not one of independence, but of dependence. Because the highest form of freedom is not self-reliance. It is complete reliance on the God who never fails. Happy Dependence Day!!” With that being said… Happy 4th! Would love to see your photos too so feel free to share!

Day 2 - Seeking Wisdom and my Story
We learned today that Wisdom doesn't fall into your lap and you have to go after it. What area of your life does God want you to seek His Wisdom? For me, it's Trust. Last Tuesday I woke up at 4:15am and couldn't go back to sleep. I was so restless so I turned on some Worship music and began to find myself in tears before the Lord. I'm not where I want to be at all in this stage of my life and I said to God, "Lord, I have no idea what you want me to do. But I'm here and I'm listening." I sang so I could worship. I stopped singing and let the words of the song minister to me. I prayed. I cried out. I vented. And then I finally stopped talking and listened. I heard Him clearly say... "Mark, you've placed Worry, Fear and Doubt above your focus on me. I need you to trust me. I am TRUSTABLE. The things you can't control, I need you to give that to me. But the things you can control, I need you to step forward and take action. Trust me to do what only I can do but you must keep moving forward in everything I've already revealed to you." As soon as I heard Him speak, this weight was lifted. And that thing that had been weighing so heavy on my heart was actually doing THIS 31 Day Challenge! And I'm STILL in it guys. There's a LOT more I have to do but God IS Faithful and has already graced me with such Wisdom and I need it to continue on. What about you? Would love to hear what area of your life does God wand you to seek His Wisdom? And let's encourage each other by commenting words of encouragement in each others post! Let's keep it moving Fam!
Consequences
Stop making decisions, and start studying consequences.
LIVE Teaching Bible Study 08 July Wednesday Morning!
Hey Fam! I thought for this upcoming Wednesday morning, I could do our Teaching LIVE! And it wouldn't just be me doing the teaching for that day but a way for us to share our reflections, meet with new faces, pray and connect! It'd be for about an hour (maybe shorter if we feel it's served it's purpose). I realize not everyone can make it due to schedules but thought I'd come on here and take a Poll to see what time would be best. And of course, feel free to hop on and off as need be. This is no pressure at all but just a way for us to do things different in our time together! If you're not able to make it, I'll post the teaching in this group and of course, the pre-recorded teaching will still be available via YouTube and Apple Podcast and Spotify. Love you all and keep at it!
