Tutorial: The Royal Bun

If there's one hairstyle I recommend you master to take your business to the next level—especially if you're in the bridal industry—besides Hollywood waves, it’s the Royal Bun. I remember seeing a hairstylist in Arizona do a huge, beautiful high bun on Instagram, and I knew right away I wanted to make it one of my signature styles. That was two years ago. Every chance I got, I practiced, watched videos, and followed her Instagram Reels to learn and get better.

Now, whenever a client tells me, “Do whatever you want,” I always go for the Royal Bun. One of my favorite memories was with a bride named Blondie. She came from Atlanta to Vegas and had a 40-inch blonde wig installed. She told me to do whatever I wanted, and I knew I had to give her that big, high bun. I posted it on TikTok, and it got 2 million views!
