Are you using the quieter months wisely?
This is the calm before the busy season - and if you use it right, April onwards could look very different for your income, confidence, and clientele. The quieter months are the perfect time to refine your skills, elevate your work, and dial in your business - so when bridal season, event season, and summer bookings hit, you’re fully booked, charging luxury prices, and standing out effortlessly. Imagine walking into bridal hair season confident, in demand, and making up to an extra £4K per month with just one wedding per week, charging premium rates - because your work looks elevated, modern, and undeniably luxury. Or using this time to refine your skills in celebrity, session, and red carpet styling. These industries don’t reward “good enough” - you get noticed when your portfolio and socials look luxury and showcase the styles that are actually trending on red carpets, editorials, and catwalks. Inside my masterclasses, I’ll teach you: • How to create on-trend red carpet, editorial, and event looks • Techniques that hold, last, and photograph beautifully • Quick transitions and prep steps for working under pressure • How to elevate your styling so your work looks high-end - not just technically good If you’re happy doing colour and cutting in the salon but want to increase your revenue without adding more hours, styling is one of the smartest ways to do it. You could earn £720 in a single 8am–2pm day by charging £120 per hour for occasion styling - just 6 clients, with minimal product costs compared to other high-ticket services like colour. Now imagine adding 3 additional styling services this to your Fridays or Saturdays within a month for clients already coming into your chair for: • Weddings • Races • Proms • Work events • Girls’ nights That’s an extra £2.8K per month - or £34K per year - simply by upselling to your existing clients and showing them why you are the go-to luxury hairstylist. These are styles your clients can’t recreate themselves - but keep seeing on influencers and celebrities. If you want to attract that kind of clientele, you need to be advertising the styles that attract them.
What an incredible summer it has been so far!
Guys I have been so non stop this summer! What an incredible time it has been, I have been in the ITV studios most Sundays styling Toni’s hair for Aftersun, finishing the series in Mallorca opting for half up waves for the finale and an embellished detailed up do for the Love Island Debrief finale! Then it was back to London for an exciting shoot with a brand I absolutely love the following day, before then the following week getting some of the newest Islanders ready for their reunion wrap party. I then have had two weddings, with another four this month coming up all over the UK! This week I have been planning for two exciting LIVE in person masterclasses in Sephora in Oxford on 18th August, and Sephora in Manchester on 26th August. I would love to see some of you there! I remember when jobs like this, were only once a dream! If I hadn’t pursued my love and passion of hairstyling, I wouldn’t be where I am travelling and making a living out of doing a job that never feels like work. If you are ready to elevate your hairstyling skills and take your career to the next level, my Red Carpet Signature Series covers six of my most sought after styles, with detailed in depth video tutorials, my top tips and tricks and a product list for you to follow all within your own time and pace. Head to the classroom in my Skool platform to get started!🫶🏻

What an incredible summer it has been so far!
Red Carpet season is here! 🏆
I have had such an exciting start to the week with two red carpet days, I remember when I first started doing hair, I would be dreaming of working at events like this with such incredible clients. People would laugh at me and tell me it wasn’t possible, due to growing up in a small town and training in a small salon. I refused to accept it wasn’t possible, and continued working hard to refine my skills and attract my dream clients and see my work on the red carpet and in the press. Fast forward to Sunday, I worked with Love Island S12 winner Toni Laites for the second time this year styling her hair for the BAFTA’s, after spending the morning getting Gogglebox & Tik Tok star, and regular event client of mine Lisa Baggs ready too. Monday, I had my lovely Love Island S7 client Sharon Gaffka back in my chair styling her hair in a wet look for the Kings Trust awards. Still to this day, every booking feels like a pinch me moment seeing my looks on the red carpet and I am eternally grateful for each opportunity I get. How did I get these opportunities? By not giving up, and believing it was possible. It started by observing the looks that were current and trending, and making sure I could execute these styles confidently. I started showcasing these styles on my social media platforms as my portfolio, showcasing the work I can do, growing my socials to attract my dream clients. I also mastered these techniques and time saving skills to ensure I could create a polished look in a timely fashion. Ideally, I like at least 1.5-2 hours for a red carpet appointment, but on busy days factoring in travel, hotel check ins, any unforeseen hold ups, that isn’t always possible. I only had 45 minutes to create an up-do on one client this weekend; but I knew that I had the ability to make that happen. The same can apply for any event booking, especially weddings! In my masterclasses, you will find the techniques and time saving hacks I have learned over the years so you too can do the same.
Red Carpet season is here! 🏆
Half up Hollywood Waves
I had the best time on Sunday at my last London Aftersun booking with Toni creating a half up Hollywood Waves style! Hollywood waves are one of my favourites as they can be so versatile and interchangeable. You can do a side part with volume, a sleeker part, or like Toni a half up style flowing into the waves for that Ariana Grande vibe finishing touch. Toni’s hair saw her through into the next day for a Hollywood themed event before her filming of the Debrief podcast. Extensions can really help to elevate a Hollywood wave style, and in my masterclass I outline the importance of using extensions for the longevity, volume and luxe finish this provides. What are your biggest struggles when it comes to Hollywood Waves? If you’d like to learn and perfect this style, and feel confident offering different variations, head to the classroom in my Skool platform and download the masterclass where you will find a detailed tutorial, a top tips list and the key products I use to execute my waves and ensure they have the longevity and that red carpet finish! 🫶🏻

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately!
I owe you guys an apology - it’s been quiet from me on here, and I want to explain why!🫶🏻 The last few weeks have been a busy but exciting whirlwind. I’ve been working closely with Toni Laites on Love Island Aftersun for the past few weeks, creating so many fun looks! I have styled Ferne McCann for Ascot Races, and spent a race day doing a hairstyling suites at Epsom Racecourse with Debenhams x Beauty Works. On top of that, bridal season has been non-stop. There’s also a handful of other exciting projects I can’t share publicly yet - but I promise it’s coming soon!✨ Here’s the thing: every single one of these bookings use the exact techniques I teach inside The Red Carpet Signature Series! These are six of my core signature most popular looks, that get me booked for red carpet, TV, bridal, and press days and I can help teach you the techniques and foundations to master your skillset to help to open those doors for you. I built this platform because I kept getting asked the same questions: “How do you work under pressure?” “How do you ensure these styles have longevity and hold all day?” So I decided to put it all in one place! The exact steps, timings, and finishing techniques I use on celebrity and bridal clients, broken down so you can execute them on your own clients with confidence. If you’ve been sitting on the fence, here’s what I want you to know: • You don’t need to be “ready” to start — these six looks are designed to build on each other • They’re built for speed and standard, which matters whether you’re working red carpet timings, a bridal morning, or a shoot with a tight schedule • Mastering them is one of the fastest ways to move from shop-floor hours into higher-value, freedom-based work — session styling, red carpet, brand days, events Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes from these recent jobs, more exclusive tips and an exciting limited time offer heading your way! If you want a head start and to be one of the first to recieve my limited time offer, hit reply and tell me which of the six looks you most want to master first!
