🇬🇧🤸‍♂️ Tell me how you fall, and I’ll tell you who you are!
Exiting a handstand is an art... but let's be honest, sometimes it feels more like an episode of "Expectation vs. Reality." 😂 Between technical flair and pure survival instinct, we’ve seen it all!
Here are the "specimens" I usually come across in my workshops:
🤸‍♀️ The Cartwheeler: Exits into a cartwheel at the speed of light. Part acrobat, part "I’m not quite sure what just happened, but I’m still alive."
🩰 The Gymnast: Might be falling flat on their face, but those toes are pointed. An ancient voice still echoes in their head: "Point your toes!"
🥋 The Judoka: Turns any loss of balance into a roll worthy of a black belt. The argument is always the same: "I learned it this way in school!"
🧜‍♀️ The Mermaid: When the arm strength logs out, the body takes on a graceful (or not-so-graceful) ripple all the way to the floor.
💥 The Daredevil: The master of "I'm good!" The only problem is that after the crash, they go MIA for a week to recover their pride (and their back).
🥷 The Ninja: Their inner Jackie Chan awakens, and the fall turns into an improvised parkour move. No one knows what happened, but it was epic.
And what about you? What’s your "landing" style? 👇
Tell me in the comments which of these variants you identify with most!
Challenge: Tag that training partner who urgently needs to learn how to exit a handstand without looking like they’re fighting off a swarm of bees! 🐝👇
