The very last thing I teach women is what to eat
I could give you a meal plan right now and tell you to go implement it, but that’s probably not going to stick
The number one factor is how you’re occupying your time
We as human beings naturally crave stimulation, and that’s normal
That’s okay
But if the only stimulation sources you’re exposing yourself to are scrolling on social media and consuming food
You’re body will never know what else to crave when it wants to be stimulated
But when you start exposing yourself to new and healthier sources of stimulation
Attending a class near you
A sound healing class
A breathwork class
A pottery class or an art class
Walking, reading, writing
Buying a walking pad and walking inside your house if it’s too cold out
While listening to an audiobook or podcast for a couple hours a day
These activities put you in flow states that fill the void you’re trying to use food for
I just got done working for 4 hours in a complete flow state
I actually forgot to eat because my craving for stimulation was being satisfied
That empty void we often only look towards food to fulfill?
Can be satisfied by so many other things
Things that put you in flow states
Things that make you feel proud of yourself, passionate, and purposeful
When you fill your time with meaningful activities
You’ll naturally stop turning to food for stimulation
Action step:
Write out a list of healthy hobbies, activities, or interests that could make you feel purposeful or proud of yourself
Even if you just commit to one for 10 minutes today
Start there
