Monday full blast!
So, life has finally calmed a little bit. Got a lot done in the meantime at home, so besides the new baby I got a new website for you to check out! Danieljamesmusicandmedia.ca Lots of cool stuff you can see, and it’s constantly changing. I’m working on making it as user friendly as possible. I’m gonna have my guitar students sign up as members, then when you do you’ll see a little graph that will show you your level of playing so you will always know where you’re at with playing :) so lots of updates and adjustments constantly coming but that’s how we grow! Thanks guys!

Zennon Judah Wayman has entered the room.
Soooo baby delivery went great. Mom and baby are doing great. Baby might be a little jaundice, but he’s a happy guy. Mom is in good shape and recovery will be quick. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! The goal is to get those videos done this week or next so you can start your journey to being the next Jimi Hendrix even faster!

Sorry everyone
Hey everyone, thanks for joining. Me and my wife are in intense baby watch. We’ve had 3 inductions that were cancelled, even our official day which was today. I’m gonna be able to get footage up and stay up with this the week after this week. Sorry again, Daniel James

18+ Why this community is free (and what's to come)
This is a place where my guitar students come to learn from one another, or to just get access to course material. I want to bless people and make a community of people who want to learn guitar quick, without any fluff. I won't lie to you, your playing does accelerate even faster, and brings higher value to you having a teacher in person, so this is also why I still offer paid lessons in person, and online, but I think everyone should get a fair chance to love music the way I do. My Company Slogan "Passion You Can Hear" is not just a slogan, it's a lifestyle for me. It's generally how I approach like, and everything I do. Kids, and adults alike need to get that fire started too, so I want to help people get there too. Where this is going... I have been an experiencer of severe ADHD since I was a kid. I know the struggles it comes with. The self doubt, self hate, the overthinking, you name it. This often led to heavy suicide ideation at a very young age. I took up hobbies like Guitar, Skateboarding, Magic Tricks, Loud Music, to escape the world. I started self harm because that's how I translated my value to others, but I also got really good at these things. I was "Magic Dan" in High School, wowing my peers with David Blaine-like Magic tricks, or I would be flying down stair sets on a skateboard giving my mom a heart attack regularly. Then Guitar and Singing came along. I started realizing that after hearing a song a couple times, I was able to play it. My parents saw this and capitalized on it and got me an electric guitar, and needless to say, from then I was HOOKED. 12 hour days, any chance I got I was banging on that thing. I learnt how to metal scream, and all that anger at myself in the world now had a way out. In a weird way my parents may not have loved the heavy music and sad/angry lyrics, but they accepted it because they knew it helped me. The reason I'm sharing this is, and with tears mind you, because I see the value in having an output for someone who doesn't know how to accept the beautiful person they are because they see the world around them, and know that they are different than anyone else. NEWS FLASH...everyone is a little weird, we just get the extra special gifts. We also get to have the ability to learn FAST, HEAR different, Recognize PATTERNS quicker than anyone else. This is HUGE with ANY musical instrument. So you have the opportunity to get involved with a future shaping skill for yourself, or your kids.

It’s up to you…
Yeah, I’ll hold your hand for some. But ear training is part of it too. It might be early to try this out but just try. Figure out what strings to strum. Always post a comment or question if you have any :) Here are Chord charts, try them out. Then comment done!
